LAWRENCE PARK

Displays whimsical, old-world architecture set against its rolling hills and lush topography.

WELCOME TO LAWRENCE PARK

The Lawrence Park subdivision was assembled in 1907 when John Lawrence, after whom the neighbourhood was named, sold the north parcel to the Dovercourt Land Company. Under its President, Wilfred Dinnick, Lawrence Park was developed as a suburb for the “well to do” and advertised as an aristocratic neighbourhood, four hundred feet above Lake Ontario and far from the winter lake winds.

Lawrence Park is an exclusive neighbourhood with charming homes typically built between 1910 and the late 1940s. Various architectural styles like English Cottage, Tudor Revival, Georgian and Colonial are found featuring old world characteristics like authentic hardwood floors and trims, fireplace mantels and leaded glass windows. The area offers premium properties with lots enjoying 50' frontages or higher. The lifestyle is family oriented and centres around Yonge Lawrence Village, which is a shopping and entertainment destination within walking distance from most homes. Schools, recreational centres and libraries can be found dotting the neighbourhood, making it an idyllic place to live.
